3 stars 'Fly By Night' is the single from the FBN album, a screechy title track with Geddy's high falsetto voice breaking glass. It is one of the best on the album and sounds great powering out of the speakers.

'Best I Can' is a strong rocking song also from the album that was an improvement from the debut. Both of these tracks typify the earlier sound of Rush, the power trio that stored the world. Of course this single is only a taster but there was still a lot more left in the tank before Rush would break outside of Canada to becoming one of the greatest rock bands of the world.

2 stars While much better and indeed proggier than their debut album, and also sporting a way coooler cover, FLY BY NIGHT is still not up to the later efforts of Geddy and the boys.
