3 stars NO NAME are one of the few occasions of a band coming from a small country of the universal map. They were formed around mid/late-80's in Luxembourg and have been a consistent progressive rock band since then. The first release of NO NAME was the album ''Zodiac'' in 1993.The album contains 8 mid-length compositions, one of them being sung in Dutch or the local language of Luxembourg,I'm not really sure. You don't have to be a specialist to indicate MARILLION as NO NAME's main influence.''Zodiac'' is an excellent disc filled with elaborated compositions, dominated by the atmospheric/symphonic digital keyboard work, not unlike MARILLION's Mark Kelly, the GILMOUR-like guitar melodies and the magnificent/emotional voice of Patrick Kiefer, one of the best performers I've ever heard! So,if you're deep into melodic/neo progressive rock with emotional musicianship and you like to listen to a really gifted vocalist, grab this little gem!Personally,NO NAME remain one of my favorites prog bands till' today.Highly recommended for neo freaks!!
