Progressive Biography

I live in a remote town of Lakeview, Oregon, not exactly what you call prog friendly territory here. The only live music you'll get here is some regional country music act performing at the Lake County Fairgrounds during the time of the fair and rodeo. As for record stores, forget about it! There is an antiques store here in town that sells old, used LPs (as well as dolls, ancient Coke bottles, stuff dating from the Old West, etc.), but expect them to be Herb Alpert, Barry Manilow, religious, and similar stuff that you can find cheaper at another town's Salvation Army or St. Vincent de Paul (my town has neither). Thank to no record stores for literally hundreds of miles (the two stores in Klamath Falls some 95 miles west of Lakeview don't count, as one is a chain store, the other a chain store wannabe), I have to order all my CDs and LPs online.

Age: 31

My story with progressive rock music:
About me: Mainly, I'm in to prog rock, usually the '70s stuff, but I would also try '80s and '90s prog if the music convinces me enough (i.e. Eloy's Planets, the stuff from ─nglagňrd, Ozric Tentacles, etc). I like a lot of the Italian prog, so no surprise that a lot of my prog collection should come from that country.

Personal collection:
Although I own CDs, I still collect LPs, and I've often reviewed titles that I have on LP that Amazon sells as a CD reissue.

Favorites progressive rock bands:
Not so much bands, but prog rock in general. British, German, Italian prog, as well as the rest of the world. Also I like a lot of '70s electronic music (the style before New Age appeared).

My favourite albums are:
That is a bit difficult to determine. Many other people seem to have little problems, for me, it seems to change a lot through the years of finding more albums.

Well, I am often looking for those little known obscurities that blows me away.
