5 stars Sequent C'..... Do you remember it? It was the closing track on Tangerine Dream's "Phaedra". I mentioned it because I noticed that on Almagest there are some passages on which you can hear some reminescences from that TD album.

These guys have created marvelous soundscapes of space rock, and you can clearly understand from the cover and the name of the tracks that what you are going to listen is a journey through the infinite space.

You will find long and mellow instrumental songs, sometimes with a soft narrating voice, and you will really feel like you're absorbed in the cosmic "life", or as if you're looking the earth from a far away star.

The record is focused on the use of flute and keyboards, synthesizers and electronic devices. I'm sure that fans of Tangerine Dream will feel at home and will not be disappointed by this album.

I would give it 4 and a half star, only because of its lenght. I would have been surrounded by these fantastic sounds for more than 39 minutes! But I will be generous and give it a full star rating because this is a great effort, and the album for its pros deserves 5 stars, really.

A space rock odyssey.
