umut
5 stars Each song on this album is equivalently well-composed and have really catching melodies. It starts with an almost-crying guitar solo (but why is it only 27 seconds?) which shakes me each time I listen to it. When you first hear Mark Smit singing at The Gates Of Eternity, his little bit weird pronunciation might make you smile but the band catches you again with the with another perfect guitar solo and never looses you again. There are many talented musicians in this band and best of all this is not a one-man-show band, they all do their job very well and exactly at where is required. I especially love the guitar solos and flute partitions but I believe it depends on the mood you are listening to it. This is very good progressive music which should be listened as whole, over and over. After a few loops it might become addictive, and you probably will be singing the tune in your head. This record is highly recommended who likes real progressive music and those who like easy listening and high quality rock music. It is surely a masterpiece.
