4 stars This is actually first music I ever tried buying from I-Tunes. But then I realized that I never bothered not only to remember the password (which is easily recoverable), but the user name as well. So, this shows that even though I may not necessarily love bad salad (and who does?), at least I am interested in them as a band. They are a Dream Theater inspired band that actually structures their songs in much the same way, with long intros and unpredictable instrumental jams in the middle, giving each instrument a chance to shine. Somewhat more aggressive than DT and with less overt pop motifs, but still quite melodic. So, they adhere pretty closely to the standards to satisfy those who hasn't yet tired of the DT universe, yet maintaning separate identity. Puzzled is a three song EP, one slower, two faster. They sound very much alike the longplay, Uncivilized. This EP is billed as a collaboration with a prominent keyboardist. He is versatile, but truthfully his contributions dont amaze that much, maybe because this is only three songs and he hasn't had a chance to stretch himself.
