umut
5 stars John Zorn is not easy to listen and sometimes it makes me feel like in some albums, some tracks are absurd combinations of absurd sounds but this is not the case for this album. A very sad beginning and a very good motivation for concentration. I especially love the first few notes played by the violin, it really shakes me each time I listen to it, violin really is crying. The overall quality of the album is excellent for those who seek complexity in music. There are a lot of classical arrangements and jazz partitions as you might seek in a typical Zorn album. I am giving 5 stars, I've been listening to this album more than 100 times and believe it is a masterpiece. If you are not into Jazz Rock or Avant music you may probably hate it but for those like me, it is awesome.
