SIX DEGREES OF INNER TURBULENCE

For some reason, I am torn on this album. I really like it and I have listened to it extensively, yet for some reason, it just doesn't give me the same "WOW" feeling as Images And Words, Awake, or Scenes From A Memory did. The album sounds "experimental" to me, which isn't a bad thing, it just doesn't wow me as much as some of the bands other recordings. The musicianship is outstanding and is what I have come to expect from such a great band. I still recommend this CD to any and every fan of Dream Theater, but I also recommend the above 3 albums first. Still worthy of 4 Stars though!!
