4 stars "The Burden Is Mine. Alone EP" was released in October 2005 as a teaser for the upcoming "The Acoustic Verses" album, which was released in 2006. The exclusive EP release contains two tracks from the Acoustic Verses album; "The Burden is mine...alone" and "Sweet Leaf". However, this EP is very interesting because it also contains 2 unreleased tracks; "Six Ribbons" and "Transparent Me".

Anne Marie Almedal, who is also the guest singer on "A Night Under The Dam DVD" does the guest vocals on "Transparent Me" and Astri Skarperngland is singing a duet with Kjetil Nordhus on the beautiful track "Six Ribbons".

Normally I wouldn't rate Singles, EP's, or Promo's very high because of the lack of importance of them. In this case however the tracks "Transparent Me" and "Six Ribbons" are an excellent addition to the "Acoustic Verses" album and therefore I will rate this wonderful EP 4 stars.
