4 stars This the second compilation album in a then 10 year old career of Gandalf. It contains the most popular tracks from the previous 4 studio albums, from a period when Gandalf went for a more electronic oriented sound than before. This period sometimes suffers from reusing structures from one album to another but these usually fill the gaps between great compositions but don't worry, you won't find this selection repetitious at all. Some tracks are excerpts or slightly different remixed versions of the original, those are marked as single edit.

This album is a nice chance to get some taste of Gandalf's late 80's work; although it has the common problem of compilation albums as it contains the most popular tracks not the best ones.

However, this album has its own atmosphere and contains some of the most beautiful Gandalf compositions ever made such as "The River Of Permanent Changes" or "Gate To Infinity".

Worthwhile, but there are better original studio albums from the early 80's...
