5 stars If you like the 80s-era King Crimson, then this is a must-have for your collection. Not only is the band in top form, the quality of the recording is astounding. The sound quality rivals that of the 'mainstream' release "Absent Lovers" (from the 1984 Three of a Perfect Pair tour). Truly it is one of the best live recordings of ANY era of King Crimson.

One needs only to listen to the blistering version of "Thela Hun Ginjeet" to recognize the power of this CD. "Thela" is usually a ho-hum Crim song, but once you've heard the Cap D'Agde version of "Thela", your opinion of the song will be changed forever.

I can't say enough positive things about this CD - well worth the purchase and will bring your ears enjoyment for many years to come.
