HEAVEN & EARTH

OMG?.!!!!! Yes have become the antithesis of what I always loved about them the most!!!! They used to have intricate arrangements/time changes/lush vocals/magical poetic beautiful lyrics, that took you to another world, another dimension. Every song would be a story, an adventure never knowing where they are taking you. They were soooo much more interesting and progressive than any other band. NOW, It's BUBBLEGUM, it's top 40 MOR, (well actually it's not even that good)?it's crap!!!! And I thought the last album was bad?. Cheezy lyrics and melodies, completely ONE dimensional, nothing left to the imagination. I tried, I really tried, and the more I listened to the songs, the more I hated them. The band was NEVER together when this album was recorded, they each put their own parts on, maybe a couple of them would get together, BUT the synergy and creativity never happened. Hard to believe these are the some of the same guys who wrote "Close To The Edge". Wow, I'm still shocked. These guys should at best retire from TRYING to write new material. Tour till ya die, PLEASE just play the music that touches our hearts and souls.

Title should be: "HELL ON EARTH" WHEN YOU LISTEN TO THIS RECORD!!
