FRIDAY NIGHT IN SAN FRANCISCO

This was quite popular live recording of the three flamenco jazz guitar virtuosos and has been often praised by fans of technical mastery, speed and fluency of guitar playing. Unfortunately, if you don't belong to these above mentioned, you would probably find this album somewhat boring and monotonous. No doubt, three master musicians are delevering their best to show technical capabilities, but there is no enough sensation of totality of music. Apart from "Mediterranean Sundance", the remaining material is best when playing in the background. If tried to listen to carefully, I simply did not succeed in keeping attention. I am not a musician myself and this type of finger work showmanship does not imprees me as such, if there are no other elements of music that I strive to find. Good album but only for fans of these guys or of this type of acoustic/flamenco guitar music.
