MR. E. JONES

This second Nuova Idea album is surely very better than previous. Nuova Idea play here a sort of hard-prog, but very melodic too, with good guitar/keyboards interplays. Lyrics talk about terrible life of a typical office worker and the musical atmospheres show traces of it, blending stress moments and dreaming pauses. Moreover, this band stands out for the excellent vocal harmonies, differently from other Italian bands of the same time. Every track is well played and all album is a really pleasant mix of intricated prog ideas and brilliant melodic tunes. Not a masterpiece, but another good example of Italian Prog.
