DA QUI MESSERE SI DOMINA LA VALLE

In 1991 the group decided to re-record the first two albums ("Banco del Mutuo Soccorso" and "Darwin") with new arrangements and new instruments. The line-up is reduced (only four elements) but the final result is extremely good. All the tracks are expanded in comparison with the original ones, but the more evident difference is in the performing of "Passaggio" in which the classic harpsichord part is followed by an extremely beautiful and inspired synth performance. Other macroscopic differences can be found in the arrangements on "R.I.P." and "Metamorfosi" which are similar to the ones of the Manticore period "Banco" album. You can also note the absence of the touch of Gianni Nocenzi even if Vittorio plays the piano parts as well. At the end a masterly execution that confirms that "the class is not water". The double CD album has been also released as a limited edition of three vinyl LP and actually can be found as two distinct CD's. The four stars (instead of the five) only depend on my personal preference for the original versions.
