2 stars I got this record with a lot of interest after the long silence of a band that I really enjoy, LANDīS END, and I had high expectations about what this record from the bandīs keyboardist. But after the first listen, I realized my expectations were too high. This is mainly a record of extended songs, with lots of soundscaping keyboards. Quite boring, sometimes, because songs donīt really difere one from eazh other. Musicianship is great, no doubt about it, but i donīt think they give their best in this occasion; and at the composition level, it is not that great, specially when compared with the tremendous quality of any of LANDīS END record. After this first disappointment, I hoped that the long suite "The Seven Pools" would restore the level of quality I expected. But unfortunately, it didnīt happen. Not a bad song, but not too brilliant, with few varations throughout it.

So then, I can only rate this record with 2 stars. I think it is too long, sometimes monotonous, sometimes a bit tedious. Lacks any interest.
