LEYENDA

I must have visited two dozen albums from the PA "unreviewed" list, and it's beginning to dawn upon me why these albums have been largely ignored by the general PA public. Almost all of those I have checked out are so weak and inconsequential that the PA folks couldn't even bother to click the "rate this album" radio button.

The Leyenda is the 0.720 Alecion's 2nd, and last album. The first one was, actually, not bad at all. I am not sure what happened to Alecion's creative faculties between 1986 and 1989, but the Leyenda's music feels like it was made by a tired and disappointed in itself band. And, despite its 30' playing time, the Leyenda feels kind of long-ish (a euphemism for dull-ish).

I'd assign 2 stars, but it wouldn't matter much anyway.
