3 stars Not a great fan of this incarnation of ELP.Powell was always too much on the hard rock side of things and in my view unbalanced the group.Lake was prone to shouting and Emerson virtually dithed the piano and synths in favour of the Yamaha GX1 monstrosity that featured on Fanfare For The Common Man (ELP's greatest hit).

But putting that aside this collection of rehearsals for the tour is actually quite enjoyable.I would even suggest its better than the album as you get the odd Emerson,Lake and Palmer track thrown in for good measure! The sound is crisp and clear as well which I prefer to the slightly echoey 80's mix on the original album release. Perhaps it should be stated that this is 'collectors only' stuff but I'm inclined to go just a little higher.
