2 stars I'm only giving this one a 2 star because they took so much care (so long?) to decide what to do with it and record it (fortunately with Jon Anderson). Very commercial riffs/etc, Rabin's guitar really sounds pedestrian compared to Steve Howe, and the business of making 'rythmn' songs rather than layering melodies really makes the album suffer in comparison to earlier work. By the way, Rabin seems to be full of himself, hmmm, what is he doing now? I must say that Tony Kaye should have stayed in semi-retirement, the keyboard work sounds like it came ouot of a can. All of these comments are for the non- top-40 listener of course. I'm sure the Album-followup tour drew an immense amount of mid-teens, (enough said).

Complete your Yes portfolio with this one, but after tapping your foot to it a few times, you'll find it gathering dust in the loft after a short time.
