5 stars "Post rock" is the way humans try to define infinity. "Post rock" is the musical genre that wants to reach the perfect and absolute sound. And maybe Sigur Rňs (with Godspeed..) managed to obtain a sound like that. The album cover (and title) is a metaphore: our lives are contained in two brackets: these parenthesis are the limits, and between them there's nothing. So our lives are nothing. But Sigur Rňs want to show us what are those brackets, and define our limits. This cd is simply magic, and maybe better than "Ágćtis Byrjun". Sigur Rňs' music smells of air and wind, it really smells of infinity. And this is not easy to obtain. 5 stars without any doubt.
