3 stars This is a very good EP.

The studio version of "Another Day" is a really good. Sentimental, almost acoustic at times. The whole "Dream Theater" antagonism. A very good rock song. Million miles (or KM) away from some dull AOR music. A great rock "ballad" (whatever ballad might mean for Dream Theater).

This won't be the the case with "A Fortune In Lies". A fantastic live version of a song from their debut album "When Dream And Day Unite " but with LaBrie on the vocals. Dynamite my friends. And great one.

We'll even be able to compare live vs sudio with a great live version of "Another Day". Vocals are rather communicative. LaBrie is really a great performer. He can fully be appreciated while singing live. A gre at rendition of a beautiful track.

It is a real good EP and a must have for the fans. Much more than a collector item IMO.

Three stars.
