Have to agree with the others on the respective merits of side one, which is the most exciting and original thing ELP ever did and side two, which I for one always enjoyed, but is rather out of place with the "Tarkus" concept. I became familiar with the "Welcome Back My Friends" version of Tarkus first, but after I obtained the original version, I could hardly listen to the later one.
