The album that showed progressive rock was capable of greatness that approached classical music. ELP astonishingly takes a great classical work and reinterprets it through the genre of rock. This music made me understand why classical music was important. Breathtaking in all of its layered glory. A bit obscure, but at the time, it was almost incomprehensible. You must listen to this at least once in your life.
