5 stars Another masterpiece by Diamanda Galás. Based in some biblical texts (Psalms and Leviticus) this amazing musician and composer make a deep album full of observations about the AIDS, criticizing and judging the the Church because the way they talk and treat persons which suffer this desease.

Using electronic and acoustic percussions, keyboards, effects and tapes and of course, playing the piano and wuth is amazing vocal range, Diamanda makes an almost conceptual monologue full of darkness, surprising twists and shocking lyrics in order to make concioussnes about AIDS and segregation. A solid album full of epical and awsome moments, specially in songs like This Is The Law Of The Plague, te amazing and frightening Confessional (Give Me Sodomy Or Give Me Death), the dark Sono L'Antichristo and Let My People Go, a beautiful ending to this powerful album that makes you goosebumps every second!

Not recommended for everyone, but a contemporary masterpiece with great lyrics an a unique opportunity to appreciate Diamanda's voice...
