This is almost like minimalist symphonic rock. The ideas are so straightforward, yet it does sound like the band really spent a lot of time planning things out- the arrangements are good, but I just don't like the material. Vocals are a little odd and sometimes downright bad. Still this album has a kind of cool vibe to it.
