IN THE COURT OF THE CRIMSON KING

Genre defining. THE seminal prog album. I actually talked my mum into buying me this on vinyl for my seventeenth birthday (ta, mum) and I was dumbstruck from the first chord onwards. That was twenty years ago and it still has the same effect on me now as it did then. In between, I have introduced this wonderful LP to so many people and heard it with so many friends in so many different (and often psychedelic) situations that it is truly a part of my life. This is where it all began, for prog and for me.
