3 stars First of all...my dear fellow reviewer HIBOU.....these guys are from Poland. But i do really feel the same way as you, about the Dutch prog community...where do they get all that talent from !!?? Collage, another europian prog group to be noticed !! This is their absolute ...Tour De Force: "Moonshine" Robert Amirian on :Vocals, mandolin, acoustic guitar. (see also his new effort:"Satellite".)Piotr Mintay Witkowski:Bass,Keys,Accordeon. Mirek Gil:Guitars de luxe.Krzystof Palczewski:Keys de Luxe. Wojtek Szadkowski:Drums. And fellow reviewers...right you are...this is close to the sound of IQ /Marillion-Hogarth period/ Clepsydra (im afraid i didnt have the pleasure of clepsydra..YET!!) But anyhow this is pleasant relaxed slow-down prog music, wonderfully executed. Do check out the first number:" Heroes cry". The keyboard intro, insisting ..nay ... commanding your attention!! On the other hand there is...quiet moments to be had in track 2 " In your eyes" with its laidback theme (again Marillion/IQ-like)still..these guys make the sound unique...as if it were their own!! Vocals..oh..the vocals are just fine...both lyrically and sung wise. There´s not a detectable accent (oh god. Please stop this!!) Actually the lead vocals are superb!! Ok...there are also the themes...the epics..the loooong tracks (see track 6:" Wings in the- night" and track 7 (Titletrack)"Moonshine"...ringing in at 12:50 min.) and the title track- are by far a superb track, with all the trimmings a progtrack should involve!!! GREAT !! So dear friends...this Polish outfit should BE in your collection!!! No doubt about it!! 3 stars....well...3 and a half, if it were up to me !! Great progmusic !!
