4 stars This, then in 2015, release was sent to me via Bandcamp. I could not have been happier, but as soon as i tried to share its publishing here in PA, the release's info and availability became invisible. (Up to today the Bandcamp page shows an obvious typo as its date of release, but again available for good!)

Anyway! 32 minutes of pure and genuine to the bone Steve Roach's Berlin School & The Bay Area / Los Angeles School learnings. Meaning, as you may have guessed, flowing and rhythmical sequencer lines, atmospheric backdrops and in the hands of Steve Roach, his usual creative melody lines, which reinvent those well travelled electronic roads to transform them to his own pursuit.

His counterpointing abilities as composer, as his mastering of time signatures, conjure the simultaneous existence of up to three, four or five of these melody lines, be them ethereal, rhythmic, linear, micro-minimalist or the harmonics of all, which by themselves are extremely attractive thus when added become one enticing, hypnotic and emotional "COSMIC" adventure.

Probably the closest he has ever been of Tangerine Dream's or Klaus Schulze's 70's productions. BUT as owner of a self-acquired music language, these just turn out to be references for a better understanding of the same.

****4 PA stars.

This EP is now included in in the 79 minute "Live in Tucson-Pinnacle Moments", as part of its tracks.
