4 stars This is one of the most dificult Flower kings CD to get in to (all of them are). It has very high moments and other ones very regular. The epics are true masterpieces to me. There are small songs like Vox Humana and Solitary shell that are grand in emotions and are because of that, very memorable, I know I will like them for ever. There are other straight songs, like rolling the dice and fast lane, that are very fine additions to this CD. The problem most people have with this Cd are the improvisated pieces (Cristianopel,Soulvortex and too late for tomatoes) which are very boring the first many listens. They say they are "jazzy", but I dont think so. The only jazzy one I think is devil DANCEschool, and is very good. As with everything in the FKs music universe, you have to give it lots of time and let it grow on you, keeping an open mind, and paying attention to the great peace and love lyrics. If you do that I assure you youll be thanking youself you did: this is a superb band!
