3 stars Been reviewing the album STEPS by the same band some moments before. Concerning STEPS one could say: Sophistication overdone. Concerning this later release with new guitarist and new vocalist I'd say: not sophisticated enough. That's a bit embarrasing when you consider the title of the album. Back in 1995 I loved the album and listened to it a lot, but almost every other release of the band is better. The problem is not the musicianship, which is excellent as always with SE, but the songwriting. It is not substantial enough to stand the test of time. All songs are ok, but not more. At least there aren't any real weak tracks on it. So three stars is ok for an ok album.
