5 stars As a Symphony X lover, I've listened to all of their albums multiple times. I must say that this one is my absolute favorite. Symphony X has a grasp on everything that makes them great. The music is beautiful, elaborate, and passionate. Songs like Wicked have wonderful imagery, and others like Awakenings and Accolade II are simply stunning. Pinnella's piano work blends naturally with Romeo's shredding guitar, not to mention Russel's vocals, Rullo's drum work, and Lepond's bass coming together as well. The Odyssey is by far their most epic track to date, and something that will be very hard to top. IMHO, this this their best album, and one of the greatest prog metal albums out there.
