4 stars This album is much heavier than the previous Echolyn albums that I have heard (StB, AtW, CPF), which is definitely not a bad thing in my opinion. There is still Echolyn's characteristic changes of tempo and well done singing, but the accompanying music has a harder edge at times. This is something different from the norrmal Echolyn and actually something different from anything else that I have heard anywhere. This doesn't sound anything like Gentle Giant (which is who Echolyn is most often compared to). This just sounds like a pumped up Echolyn. And that is a really good sound in my books.
