4 stars Late Canterbury scene music that picks up on some of the best ideas of earlier Canterbury bands, mixes it with some jazz, and in the end, comes off a little dry. I've heard other reviewers say that this album is somewhat cold and distant, and I would have to agree. It is still an essential work for fans of progressive rock, because of its care and intricacies it's better than a lot of other stuff that is out there.
