4 stars Time And A Word shows the progression of the band at it's early stages to find it's sound. Incoporating orchestral arrangments show the band unaffraid to venture into new areas. The two cover songs ( Everydays & No Opportunity Neccessary, No Experience Needed ) again show the versitility of the band to recreate these songs and give them a completely different Yes sound. The songs and writing on this their sophmore offering show improvement and clearly reveal that Yes were taking their music to new uncharted realms. Standout tracks on the album are Then, Astral Traveller and Time And A Word. I would reccomend this album as an excellent addition to any collection.
