1 stars To me, they are one of the greatest bands of all times, and position two (below Genesis, above Wishbone Ash and Demon) in my personal Top 4. That's why I'm so sad to admit that in 2017 they made their worst work ever. Pale, powerless, insipid, linear. No inspiration at all. A bunch of self-repetitions. Looks like Bornemann has had enough of composing music, playing guitar and singing. And sounds like Bornemann has no creative ideas at all anymore. The only moment that may be really considered THE music is the short fragment of The Sword, between 4'24" and 4'50" - but it's literally killed by an inappropriate self-quotation: the refrain of the song is copied and pasted from Company Of Angels (The Tides Return Forever, 1994). What a catastrophe if this all means that Eloy is no more... But let's wait for part two. Who knows...
