5 stars My first review for this wonderful website, that allowed me to get back in touch with the music that I love more: rock played with instrumental skill, long, varied and inspired compositions, with symphonic attitude and strong melodic textures. Always a fan of Pink Floyd, Yes, Supertramp between the others, I thought this music was dead until I discovered, thur Internet surfing, Progarchives. And the first CD I bought because of the reviews on it was Spock Beard's V. This has all, two long pieces with great sounds, gifted melodies to drive your mind away; shorter songs with warm and enjoyable development (Goodbye to Yesterday guitar picking at the beginning is a great sensation like...thermal water droplets?). For me, nothing short that a real masterpiece (I will use this definition properly, from now on). From this CD onward, I started making exploration of suggested bands and works (from other SB works, to Echolyn (!!!), Transatlantic (!!!), Porcupine Tree (!!!), Little Atlas,...and many more!!) that made my music collection now giving so much more plesure! So, dear fellows at Progarchives, a warm salute from Italy!
