THE ACOUSTIC VERSES

3.5 stars really. This is a good album, but it sounds very much the same all the way through. I keep hoping for it to speed up and get louder. There is enough excellent acoustic guitar and other non traditional instruments to make this an interesting listen. I am wavering between 3 and 4 stars but will round down this time. I have now heard two Green Carnation albums and I will more than likely pick up another one. This is so much different than LoDDoD that I really have no idea what to expect if they release a new album.
