4 stars What could I say about this record? First of all, i strongly recomend it to all the progreaders, and at least for one solid reason: Terye Rypdal is, in my opinion, one of the most interesting guitarist of these last forty years, surely the most philosophical. When i use the term philosophical, i want to mean essentially to the dialectical mouvement of the rypdalian a solo, the only, at least among all these i know, able to make the listeners perceive an unusual paradox, as to say the collapse of the melodic line exactly during its simultaneous construction. The collaboration with David Darling, a very distinguished cello player (Journal October and Musical Massage Balance are two albums that each one can advantageously listen to), i think, marks one of the point of maximum of this strange case. Four stars.
