3 stars Hmmmmm.... I put my hands on this album a few months ago and I must say I was very curios to listen to it, because I knew there's a lot of musicians on it. First of all, I thought it was a conceptual album, on of the highest class. This thing is due to the multitude of excellent musicians, many of them in the top of progressive music such as: Klaus Schulze, Al Di Meola, Steve Winwood and guitarist Pat Thrall. Well, what can I say about this album? There's an international project, a meeting between some giants of progressive music worldwide. Stomu Yamashta succeeded in gathering together these musicians and gained with this album international success. Unfortunately, IMO, It's not at all something magnificent or outstanding. The album is just for simple auditions. There's a mixture of jazz-rock, experimental music, slow pop music and electronic here. We can see KS interventions on the middle of the album, who can be considered pure space rock music for about 10 minutes and after that pure experimental jazz-rock/fusion on other 2 tracks. There's some songs in which Steve Winwood's voice is very good and even enjoyable. Dissapointed? Maybe a little, but I admit the fact that the effort of this remarkable musicians should be taken into account. Take the time for at least four or five auditions! Good but not essential.
