4 stars David Bowie is delivering here a great piece of art-rock.

Station to station begins with a spychedelic spacerock intro with locomotive sounds. This all will change into a rock & rollsong. Well, it seems to work, really a nice introduction of this record wich shows a lot of what this record has to offer. David Bowie sings really enthousiastic and songs are not always brilliant, but it listens like a train from station to station!

There is much variety to be found on this record; from funk, spacerock to lounch and rock & roll. David Bowie shows his large capabilities of singing with different moods in different styls.

Not really progressive, but experimental: good art-rock which will not misstand in any progrock collection. I always thought off this record as one of David Bowies best ones, if not the best one: 4,5 stars!
