I really do not understand what the fuss is about.

The album starts with some good songs, but it really never takes of into the stratosphere everybody says it does. I gladly agree that Intorno Alla Mia Cattiva Educazione has a lot of good melodies. The opening track and Fuori di me,Dentro di me to mention a few. The music is very much poetic and innovative with a South-European feeling. The flutes and the brass makes the music interesting. The vocals is also top notch. The problem is the lack of some really killer tracks or any tunes. I understand the joys of this music is in the details, but it is not a good sign when I pick up the album the day after giving it three spins without remembering anything from it. Maybe it is my advanced years, but I do not get this.

Intorno Alla Mia Cattiva Educazione has some good music without any really killer tracks or anything memorable. It leaves me frustrated because I do not get whatever the other reviewers get. But, check it out.
