5 stars Masterpiece. Frost* is one of the few prog bands that I can like immediately and continuously. Fans of Milliontown won't be disappointed. I don't know if I can make any sure judgments as to whether or not it surpasses it's predecessor, but it certainly achieves its Awesome in much the same way. The only downside is that Wonderland does not have a good ending, and therefore the album really doesn't have a good ending. Normally this would be crippling, but tracks like Pocket Sun, Saline, and Experiments in Mass Appeal are good enough to make up for it. That being said, I'm sure you're a little confused that I've rated this as a Masterpiece. The fact is, an album doesn't have to be perfect to receive a 5-star review. I don't know that any album is perfect, but Experiments certainly achieves every benchmark I can possibly think to set to differentiate the Great from the Good.
