2 stars For some reason the NEKTAR sound just don't translate that well from the live recordings into the lps by them that I have heard. NEKTAR is one of the most underrated of all progrock bands around, but this lp won't win them any new fans. Sound quality is ok or maybe a bit better as far as clarity goes, but a little flat as far as the bass sounds are concerned. Also the choice of material released on this one is questionable,to me at least.NEKTAR can and does get into some pretty intricate and involved jams(just give a listen to TAB IN THE OCEAN),but this lp is just not as intense as maybe LIVE IN NEW YORK. Of all of the NEKTAR efforts this is my least favorite. If you are new to NEKTAR's music then I suggest that you check out any of the first five NEKTAR releases.
