FRAMES

Well, This is the kind of prog I don't get it. Sure, musically this album has the melancholy mood. I like that, but when it becomes in the whinning mood, i just get bored. An boring is the word for this album. Maybe I am not a hardcore proghead and hence I am not able to capture the essence of this work, but for sure this is not my cup of tea for prog. Besides what kind of misleading tag is psychedelic/space rock for this band? I don't know if that concept is different in this site. So, I can even stand whinning bands like Muse (not prog, but a lot more interesting) or Radiohead (not much either) but this Oceansize just bores and bores even greater with tracks like sleeping dogs and dead lions, ugh..... avoid.
