4 stars Although they have been around for ages, i have never really liked Pendragon...each time I have listened to them I was fairly disappointed....However, I read some of the reviews on this site and listened to a few tracks...I then got the album...With Pure they have taken a new direction...one that seems very similar to PT - fear of a blank planet....and whilst not quite as good (for me) as FOABP, I have really enjoyed this album. Overall some very nice tracks, nice bass work, ok keyboards, generally ok guitar work (a few odd off time moments)...and strong vocals. If like me you have not been into Pendragon... you might find this a surprising album....and if you are a PT fan...I think you may enjoy this. Certainly one my favourite albums of the year.
