3 stars ANGE....the french prog/folk outfit.....are really supreme...mind you i dont understand one word of french...but the sheer vision of their(ANGE) music...make´s me believe that i understand french...and indeed ANGE´s music...they´are a sort of French kind of Grobschnit....or may´be a French kind of Fairport Convention...ahem...anyhow..these guys mean business! Its a question of wheter you like folk music or you like french music!! Or both!! Some say, that this music is the best music...they´ve ever heard!! There are some beautiful sequences with keyboards and guitars!! Mellotron a plenty......but still im a bit bored........i dont think that anyone in its right mind could call this the best prog ever!! Its kinda....sofprog music. There are hints of folk music...and a bit of rock....but other than that..i do not see (Hear) the supreme music, that we are supposed to experience!! I for one are really disappointed...as i expected... sure there are some really nice theme´s ...guitars an key´s!! Still.....each to his own.....ANGE`s is something to remember!! So..conclusion is: ANGE an OK french outfit....but.....So.....What?????? Another prog experience...along the way!! Sorry you...french prog freaks...i really dont see( hear) the point?? Why the 3 stars? Well, as i do not know ANGE that well....i feel i have to give em´ 3 for musicianship...and ill give em ´a few more spins...maybe they´ll grow on me. 3 stars is it!!
