This fine classic album introduced me to the music of RUSH. The title tune "2112" is just marvelous, an epic space opera in vein of symphonic music, but played in powerful 70's hard rock style. The shorter songs on the b-side lowers the value of this LP in my opinion, butt "Tears" is a pretty ballad with some mellotrons in it. It's a fine album still, reaching it full value as a fine gatefold vinyl!
