4 stars Another Kingcrow release, and another opportunity to be impressed. Easily their most progressive album to date, with an aural assault of layers and harmonies. When listening to tracks like Folding Paper Dreams, you just know this is some of their best song writing in a Kingcrow delivery of rifts and changes. Musically, there are many heavy moments and at times you feel like you are listening to Eidos... but they have absolutely built on, and progressed from that release. The Persistence is another stellar track in the heart of this album. There are no bad tracks, and every track can be called an anchor. The way that they use synth and keyboards adds an outstanding layer to their sound. This is a fantastic listen for progressive rock fans. I would have no problem calling this their best album to date, and it feels like they put the time and effort into it. 4 stars.
