4 stars Barclay James Harvest made a album very simple, very beautiful with a good taste. The songs are in style of melodic symphonic rock with a folk touch. The title very diferent is Wooly Wolstenholme's "Beyond the grave" one of BJH's most powerful tracks ever. Wooly is a Barclay's member with a more feel of symphonic music. All the album have perfect vocals, beautiful mellotron and a unique simplicity. This things are a trade mark of the band in the seventies days in a Polydor label. If you like the peace of country, maybe the "Time Honoured Ghosts" is a good choice. For me this album is a good exemple of sımphonic rock without pomp and circunstance. Because of this, four stars!
