UNFOLD THE FUTURE

The two Epics save the day. Yep, most of the tracks on this double CD are not up-to the usual Flokis high standard. This would definately be a TWO stars BUT Too late for tomatoes ((gets a bit silly at the end) but good fret work makes this a good track), Fast Lane - (not long enough) and Silent Inferno (Excellent) and Black & White with it's ace instrumental part elevete it to THREE STARS. Expecially Silent Inferno which is ACE (but a longer track...I see a pattern here). Then we have the TWO epics and these two gems pull this CD out of the mire. The Truth will set you free is 30 minutes of excellence, with ELP, YES and Hackettesque guitar work filling in the whole composition very nicely. This track is like all Stolte compositions - the longer they are the better they seem to be. This track has some exquisite keyboard and guitar interchanges and this bumps the rating to 4 stars because this track is essential prog. The other long track, Devils Playground is slightly weaker but again showcases some excellent guitar work - Get this CD for these two plus theSilent inferno- FOUR STARS
